William "Bill" Charles Burke, 60, of Waco passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 3, at 10:00 a.m. at Old Time Baptist Church, Highway 6 in Riesel.

Bill was born in Waco on December 16, 1953.  He served in the army after which he worked at the VA Hospital in Waco, enjoyed traveling as a truck driver and later became a supervisor at Mrs.Bairds.

Bill was preceded in death by his step-father, Roy Winfield, his mother, Myrtic Winfield, and sisters Lois Roberts, and Donna Black.

Bill is survived by his four sons, Bryan Barrett and wife Jessica of Houston, Zachary Burke of Robinson, Austin Burke and Joshua Burke of Riesel; brothers, Charles Burke of Seguin and John Winfield of Noble; sisters, Mary Myatt of Lorena, Sheila Hoffman of Magnolia, and Martha Baker of Speegleville, and many nieces and nephews.
